Ebb

Weight talk, in good company

Seven women, one partner, and a week written out in full

Ebb is a community app for women who think about their weight more than they say out loud: the number on the scale, the jeans that stopped closing, the slow afternoons, the group photos they quietly step out of. Each member is seated in a group that matches her hours. What follows is one ordinary week inside it, day by day.

Day zero: the answers that seat her

The week starts with a few honest questions. Her answers decide which group she joins, who her partner is and how full her week gets.

The real shape of her weekShift work, school runs, a desk until six. Ebb asks which evenings and mornings are actually free.
What weighs on her mostThe scale, clothes that stopped fitting, low energy by mid-afternoon, avoiding the camera. She ticks what is true for her.

The group opens the week with a vote

The host posts a hello and a menu of shared challenges, picked from what the seven members wrote on day zero. Everyone votes from the sofa, the bus or the kitchen counter. Votes close at nine.

Two messages with her partner

Her partner is one woman from the group whose check-in hours match hers. The daily exchange is two lines each, started from an editable prompt. Nobody is graded, nobody is chased.

Live room, camera optional

A member host opens the room with a theme drawn from the group's answers. This week it is the drawer of clothes that stopped fitting, and what to do with it. Some members talk, some type, some just listen with the camera off.

Nothing is recorded. The room ends on time so the evening stays hers.

Each walk taken shows up as a tick on the group's board. The board shows who showed up this week, never what anyone weighs. There is no ranking.

A quiet day with nothing due

No prompts, no room. The scale log is there if she wants it, private by default and visible to no one unless she chooses otherwise. A one-tap energy check asks how the day went.

Many members say Friday is the day they simply read the group thread and leave a heart.

The open room across groups

Once a week, several groups share one bigger live room. The theme this time: photos, and the habit of hiding at the edge of them. Members post a picture of a place they went this week, not of themselves, and talk about the wish to be in the frame without flinching.

Evening, weekly reread

The week is reread and the next one rearranged

Ebb lays out her week: ticks, check-ins, rooms joined, rooms skipped. Two questions follow: what was too much, what she wants more of. Next week's prompts, room times and challenge options are rebuilt from those answers.

Every fourth week, partners rotate, so each member gets to know more of her group.

How Ebb seats, pairs and paces a group

The week above runs on a handful of plain rules. They are the same for every member and adjust to her answers.

Seating by shared hoursMembers are grouped when their free hours overlap on at least four days and their time zones sit within two hours. Six to eight women, so every voice has room.
Partners matched by rhythmPairs are made from check-in habits: early birds with early birds. Partners rotate every four weeks, and either one can ask for a change privately.
Challenges chosen by voteThe Monday menu is built from the group's own answers. One option is always lighter, and skipping is never shown to anyone.
Rooms with a host and a guideTwo live rooms a week, led by a long-standing member who follows Ebb's written room guide. Camera optional, nothing recorded.
Weight stays privateThe scale log belongs to her alone. The group sees attendance and messages, never a number.
A weekly reread sets the loadHer two answers each week reshape the next one: more rooms or fewer, earlier check-ins or later, a busier menu or a lighter one.

Forty-five days to change your mind

If group life on Ebb turns out not to suit her, a member can ask for her full payment within 45 days of paying. One message to support is enough; no reason has to be given.

Asked in the welcome room

What new members tend to ask on their first evening.

Does anyone in the group see her weight?

No. The scale log is private by default and optional altogether. The group sees ticks on the challenge board and the messages she writes, nothing more.

What happens when her schedule changes?

She edits her answers in settings. Ebb then suggests groups whose free hours overlap with her new ones, and she can move or stay where she is.

How does cancelling work?

Renewal is switched off in the app's account settings or by writing to support. Access continues to the end of the period already paid, and the 45-day refund window still applies.
